Brennan's thoughts on the trip

The eating! This may have been my favorite part of the whole trip. I could be a bit grumpy some days, but as soon as we ate, I'd stop complaining and we'd be a happy family. Funny, the magic that some good food can do. It helped us appreciate things like...






Weird looking art. (sorry for the grainy photos). The trick to finding stuff like this is to look at big, busy, Renaissance paintings and focus on the people in the corner. That, or just look at a random sidewalk in Paris (as was the case with the naked sumo wrestler at the top). The worst offenders of looking stupid, in many cases, were actually the baby Jesuses, They often looked like creepy man-babies, unfortunately.

Ah yes. The infamous man-baby Jesus portraits. Shows you that even Renaissance artists had some room for improvement. I'm surprised you didn't use one of your selfies!
