A bit more Giverny

It was fascinating to hit both Giverny and Versailles in the same day. Monet loved the English style of gardening, and shaped his garden at Giverny to be gloriously wild -- a profusion of shapes and colors.  Versailles is lavish inside, but its gardens are rigid, and (frankly) rather dull. I so much prefer Giverny. Here are a few more photos.

A nice family shot. So strange to be the shortest in the family!
